WILTON, CT - March 8, 1999 -Leasing Technologies International, Inc., recently announced the promotions of Richard H. Livingston and Mary Lavelle in the Wilton headquarters. LTI continues to strengthen its management team to fully serve the fast growing market in the venture leasing arena.

Mr. Livingston , previously LTI's Marketing Director, is now Vice President, responsible for developing and maintaining the company's lease origination channels and market relationships with lease brokers, independent lessors and other third party intermediaries nationwide. Prior to joining LTI in 1994, Mr. Livingston was Chief Financial Officer at Lucas Furnaces, Inc.. an early stage waste-to-energy project development company. From 1989 to 1993 he was Director of Finance/CFO for two USA based shipping companies owned by the East Asiatic Company, Denmark. Prior to this, he was a Vice President engaged in commercial shipping and Project marketing at Skaarup Shipping Corporation, Greenwich, CT. From 1970 to 1983, Livingston was employed by three shipping companies in various senior management capacities in both the commercial and finance functions. He has a B.A. in History from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a member of New York New Media Association, New York Venture Capital Forum, Connecticut Venture Group, the ELA, NAELB, UAEL and the EAEL. Mr. Livingston resides in New Canaan, CT.

Ms. Lavelle, previously a consultant at LTI, has been named Controller and will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial reporting. Additionally, she will develop financial analysis models for valuation of strategic initiatives, act as liaison to coordinate needs of the marketing, credit and lease administration departments with accounting and financial reporting functions. Ms. Lavelle will be representing LTI at selected industry functions. Mary's talent and experience have accumulated through 17 years in the public accounting arena (Mahoney Cohen & Co.), the leasing industry (Intech Capital Corporation and LTI) and most recently in private consulting. Her primary concentration has been advising, establishing and assisting clients with corporate operational controllership and financial reporting projects. In addition to being a certified public accountant, she holds a BS degree in mathematics from Union College and an MS degree from Pace University. She is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPA's. Ms. Lavelle resides in North Salem, NY.
